I photographed these lilies just after a short rainstorm. The sun came out soon, so there was a beautiful "glistening" effect.

This particular lily bush (shrub? plant? whatever) has a longer history than I do. My grandparent first planted it in their tiny flat in Dadar. When they moved to Vashi, my parents made sure to transplant some bulbs. Now, we have their descendents in the terrace of our Airoli flat. We still get spectacular flowers, every monsoon.
